Entrepreneurship and Business Development Program
däna Näye Ventures delivers the Entrepreneurship and Business Development Program on behalf of CanNor to Indigenous Citizens residing in the Yukon, and the Aboriginal Business Financing Program (ABFP) on behalf of NACCA to Indigenous Citizens residing in Atlin, Good Hope lake and lower post. The EBD promotes economic self-sufficiency for Indigenous people in the Yukon and northern BC communities by providing financing for small and medium-sized individually-owned Indigenous businesses and for community-based projects.
Contributions of up $99,999 are available for individuals. Cash equity requirement must be at least 10% of total project costs.

How do I get started?
- Schedule an appointment with the Program Officer
- Review and complete the application
- Provide supporting documentation as discussed with the EBD Program Officer
How long will it take to process my application?
This depends on the complexity of your project and the availability of information required to submit a completed application. Once all the required information has been provided and reviewed by the Financial Services Officer, a response will be provided to you within 10 working days.
What happens after approval?
Once approval has been granted the Program Officer will present you with a letter of offer reviewing the details of the approved project. An in-person meeting will be scheduled to review and sign the legal documents. Depending on the project approved; reporting and monitoring requirements may be necessary.
