# Bannock Slap Indigenous Soul Food

Bannock Slap Indigenous Soul Food

Christine Lewis, Owner

Christine Lewis, a proud Northern Tutchone and part Tlingit from Wolf Clan, born in Whitehorse Yukon and a Kwanlin Dün citizen, she shares her indigenous roots through traditional dishes at Bannock slap indigenous Soul Food for the past 4 years now.

Christine is determined to make a difference through her thoughts and prayers, beginning with her own business. With the assistance of the IWE program, she applied for an IWE micro loan to buy her food truck. Thanks to her hard work and dedication, Christine has achieved success by selling delicious Bannock to the communities in the Yukon.
Congratulations Christine for your successful business and dedication in the Indigenous cuisine.
